TUTORIAL - star shaped bokeh effect

Merry Christmas everyone!

For all the creatives among you I made a tutorial on how to produce a star shaped bokeh effect. It is really simple.

WHAT YOU NEED:
- scissors
- cardboard
- pen
- your lens

1
trace your lens.

2
draw round edges.

3
cut out your tracing.

4
fold the edges.

5
draw the shape of a star into the middle of the cardboard.

6
cut it out.

7
place the cardboard onto your lens.

 YOU ARE DONE!

The stars will appear as soon as light points are out of focus. Here I have taken a picture of the chain of lights on our christmas tree.

You can make any kind of bokeh shapes. A heart for example.
