Studio Lights

As promised you can have a look at the pictures which I took at the photography workshop on 17th November and at the end there are some behind-the-scenes-images. It was really good experience working in a studio.

Winter Blues

It has been a while since my last self portraits. And now that it is winter with a lot of snow and freezing wind blowing around our house the only thing I would normally do is, stay inside hiding from the cold. But today I gave myself a challenge and decided to go out to capture some snowy moments.

Sarah

A week ago I took part in a photography workshop at a studio in Innsbruck where I had the chance to use and experiment with professional lightning equipment. But as I still prefer natural light I went outside with beautiful Sarah during a short break to walk around the old looking buildings. I have to say that I really love the shots I then took.

After the cold days the sun showed us her warm smile again and with her soft light she brightened up the photo shoot 

with pretty Anna-Lena. We enjoyed a little walk near the river where I had the chance to capture some autumnal moments.

Despite the freezing cold my beautiful student colleague Julia was modeling so well during today's shoot and I am so happy to present the results now here on my blog!

Silent Morning

I woke up very early on Sunday morning and stayed in bed for some hours in order to go back to sleep - hopeless. Finally I stood up, got dressed and left the apartment trying not to wake anybody. My stomach was growling loudly asking for breakfast. I walked down the street and passed by a bakery where I bought some bread. I did not want to go back to our room already so I sat down on a bench in a little park. There I was surrounded by red roses and loads of leaves. How silent and quiet it was. The hour on my own gave me the peace I needed after the eventful night (Nihils in Innsbruck).

Last Saturday Nihils were playing at the Weekender Club in Innsbruck. In my opinion it was one of the best shows they did since I have known them. It was so much fun listening and dancing to their music and getting excited about their new songs. Afterwards different DJs went on stage to play some more music and the party went on till the morning. The whole night was pretty amazing! 

Elly

Here are the final pictures of a photo shoot I did with my friend Elly a few days ago. It was good fun doing her make up and hair before we went out of the house to take some photographs. She was wearing an old dress which once belonged to her mum.

A Secret Garden

Not far from where I live there is a hidden place. Untouched nature. A paradise for little animals and insects. 
Flowers and trees grow without being cut and show their beautiful blooms. I carefully walked into the garden, trying not to damage any of the wild plants. The sound of bugs, bees and birds surrounded me while shooting. Cool wind was dancing around me as the sun went down slowly. On my way back a big grasshopper accompanied me until I had left the secret garden. 

West of Vienna

May I introduce a cute little shop in our beautiful capital city: "West of Vienna".
A place where you find all kinds of fun cameras. Now everybody has the chance to take pictures with, for example, a juice packet.
"West of Vienna" only opened a few months ago and already is very popular and a lot of people come to visit.

Donauinselfest with Nihils

Last weekend, 23th of June, the band Nihils headed off to Vienna to do a performance at the "Donauinselfest". Vanessa, the guitarist's girlfriend, and I accompanied them. As we arrived at the capital city we stayed at the hotel for a little while to rest. After everybody was dressed up and ready to go we drove to the Isle, parked and waited for the trolly which then transfered the boys and their equipment to one of the stages. At 8.30 pm Nihils began their show and the place in front of the stage filled with more and more people who cheered for their music.

On 11th June we rented a car and travelled around the countryside. During the day we spent our time enjoying the beauty of the fields, hills, animals and waters. We were taking pictures of all the pretty locations we visited.

eat more plants

To start my blog I thought I would post my latest filmproject I shot in may - an advert called "eat more plants" .

I want people to be conscious of their food. It is good to eat things that have not made an endless long journey around the world and through dozens of factorys but which come directly from our country or better our own garden. Back to nature! I prefer not to eat any meat as animals are treated so cruel these days and with the advert I want to invite people to eat less meat.
